Your tasks

  • Overall responsibility for transport planning and internal plant traffic at Bell Switzerland Ltd, including the management of returnable load carriers and loading aids
  • Management of around 30 employees (qualification, training, coaching, information, planning, etc.).)
  • Ensuring that goods are delivered to internal and external customers on time and in perfect condition in terms of quality and quantity, taking into account budget targets, quality, hygiene and safety standards
  • Optimizing logistics and transport processes with regard to efficiency, Economic efficiency and compliance with legal regulations (ARV, CZV) as well as responsibility for the implementation of logistics activities in the logistics center
  • Managing and working on projects, advising and supporting the Bell Group on logistics issues and continuously developing the area of responsibility in line with TOP X

What you bring with you

  • Completed logistics training with a focus on transport / operations management as well as proven expertise in transport organization (incl. ARV knowledge)
  • Multi-year experience in managing transport and logistics processes, ideally in the food sector (IFS, FSSC, hygiene)
  • Project and implementation experience in logistics optimization, tenders and process improvements
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills: Cost management, KPI reporting, problem-solving skills and IT affinity (TMS, ERP/SAP)
  • Strong negotiation skills and very good language skills in German, English and French
