Your tasks
Management & Organisation
- Overall responsibility for the development department at the Radolfzell site
- Ensuring efficient structures, clear processes and smooth workflows
- Planning and prioritising projects in line with company objectives
- Establishing and developing a high-performance, future-oriented organisation
- Management & employee development
- Technical and disciplinary management of a dedicated development team
- Promoting, coaching and targeted further development of employees
- Creating a culture of cooperation, personal responsibility and motivation
- Setting an example of a cooperative and appreciative management style
Project & process management
- Responsibility for planning, managing and implementing development projects
- Ensuring on-time results with high implementation quality
- Continuous optimisation of processes and interfaces
- Management and collaboration in cross-divisional projects
Market & trend understanding
- Observing and analysing market, consumer and technology trends
- Deriving and implementing relevant innovation approaches
- A keen sense of market needs in food service or retail
Cooperation & interface work
- Close cooperation with Production, Quality, Purchasing, Marketing and Sales
- Advising internal stakeholders on development-related topics
- Promotion of constructive cross-departmental collaboration
What you bring with you
- Several years of management experience in product development - preferably in food service or retail
- Proven experience in project management and process control
- Degree in food technology, process engineering, ecotrophology or similar
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop talent
- High level of assertiveness and perseverance combined with a cooperative management style
- Strategic, structured and solution-orientated thinking
- Fluency in German and English
