In this role as Transport Dispatcher, you will support Transport Dispatching Switzerland in day-to-day operations and actively contribute to the further development of logistics processes. You will work closely with the Head of Transport Planning and various internal interfaces and ensure that efficiency, quality and reliability are practised in transport logistics on a daily basis.

Your tasks

  • Processing deviations in day-to-day business and ensuring a smooth transport process
  • Planning, coordinating and monitoring internal and external transport to the customer
  • Creating and processing special transport, export and returns orders, including obtaining relevant transport information and documents
  • Supporting internal transport coordination and working closely with internal and external partners
  • Processing complaints and actively finding solutions in the area of logistics and transport
  • Carrying out tour and route changes in the IT systems
  • Taking on on-call duty, holiday on-call duty and readiness for temporary trips with lorries/transporters

What you bring with you

  • Completed training in logistics/transport or equivalent experience
  • Experience in transport planning or operational logistics, ideally in the food sector
  • Knowledge of ARV regulations
  • IT affinity (e.g. TMS, ERP/SAP)
  • Available for on-call duties as required
