Your tasks
- You will analyse existing finance and controlling processes, identify opportunities for optimisation and develop appropriate solutions to organisational and systemic challenges
- Working alongside the specialist departments, you will develop solutions that promote sustainability, evaluate different options and oversee their implementation, taking into account cost-effectiveness, quality and risks
- You will be responsible for the further development, maintenance and optimisation of SAP FI/CO applications, such as xSuite or Serrala, and ensure their efficient operation
- Planning and carrying out tests, producing documentation and delivering training for key users will also form part of your remit
- You will act as a knowledgeable point of contact for users, key users, business development and developers on matters relating to finance and controlling
- For SAP projects of medium to high complexity, you will lead sub-projects and coordinate their successful implementation in collaboration with internal and external partners
- You will advise business departments on organisational optimisations and help to make processes, workflows and information flows more efficient
What you bring with you
- You have a degree in business administration or equivalent qualifications, specialising in finance, management accounting, business informatics or a similar field
- You have several years’ experience as an in-house or external SAP consultant, as well as in-depth knowledge of SAP FI/CO
- You have a good understanding of accounting, management accounting and business processes
- Knowledge of other SAP modules such as SD, MM or PP, as well as experience with BI tools, would be an advantage
- Your approach to work is structured, solution-oriented and characterised by a strong commitment to quality
- You enjoy communicating with a variety of stakeholders and impress with your strong team and consultancy skills
- Excellent German and good English skills round off your profile
