Join our close-knit technical team in the meat production department (slaughterhouse/cutting plant). The plant engineering team is responsible for ensuring the availability of all technical systems and infrastructure within the company, with the aim of enabling smooth Production. All maintenance work, as well as minor and major repairs, is carried out in-house. Refits or modifications to technical systems of a certain scale are implemented, from planning through to execution and documentation.

Your tasks

  • Maintenance and servicing of the production equipment in the abattoir and the cutting plant
  • Troubleshooting and fault rectification
  • Commissioning of new equipment and assisting with modifications
  • Recording of maintenance, repairs and faults in the SAP
  • Maintenance module
  • Purchasing of materials in accordance with guidelines
  • Collaboration on new capital projects

What you bring with you

  • Completed training in mechanics/multi-trade mechanics, e.g. for agricultural machinery, construction machinery or similar
  • Ideally, you will have professional experience in plant maintenance
  • Good technical/mechanical understanding and strong
  • manual dexterity
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (staggered shifts with the earliest start at 04.30) and an average of two Saturdays per month
  • An efficient, meticulous, independent and reliable approach to work
  • Very good command of German
  • Mobile (own vehicle required due to poor public transport links)
