Your tasks
- Establishment and further development of the OT landscape within the production plants
- Support in improving IT/OT security and addressing existing security vulnerabilities
- Analysis and optimisation of production and automation processes
- Ensuring data transparency along production lines
- Collaboration on future Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory initiatives
- Supporting the integration and connection of machinery and software solutions
- Collaboration with local engineering, local IT and group-wide IT
- Contributing to the definition of OT standards and future architectural concepts
- Supporting and coordinating external partners and suppliers
- Helping to shape the team and its development
What you bring with you
- Training in IT, automation, electrical engineering or a basic technical qualification with relevant further training
- Experience in an industrial production environment would be an advantage
- Knowledge of OT, industrial networks or automation
- Experience with PLCs would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming, such as TIA Portal, Step7 or comparable industrial systems
- Experience with HMI systems such as WinCC would be an advantage
- Understanding of industrial communication via OPC
- Understanding of interfaces between Production, OT and IT
- A team player with good communication skills who works independently
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Switzerland and Germany
- Very good command of German and English
