The Plant Engineering department is responsible for the availability of all technical systems and infrastructure within the company, with the aim of ensuring smooth Production. All maintenance work, as well as minor and major repairs, is carried out in-house. Refits or modifications to technical systems are undertaken on a range of scales, from planning through to implementation and documentation. Your tasks
- Repair and preventive maintenance of production and building services equipment.
- Assistance with refurbishments and new builds within the departments.
- Recording of maintenance, repairs and faults in the SAP maintenance programme.
- Assisting with projects within the scope of responsibilities.
- Purchasing of materials in accordance with the guidelines
What you bring with you
- We require a completed EFZ qualification as an electrical fitter, installation electrician, automation technician or equivalent training (foreign qualifications are only accepted if their equivalence to Swiss vocational training has been recognised by ESTI)
- Experience in control engineering and/or plant maintenance, or a willingness to undertake further training in these areas
- Willingness to undertake on-call duties and regular work assignments on two Saturdays per month
- Willingness to work between 5.00 am and 10.00 pm
- Very good written and spoken German
- Good IT skills (MS Office)
- Ideally, a basic knowledge of Siemens Step 7
- Independent, resilient and reliable personality
- A meticulous, structured and error-free approach to work
- Ability to work well in a team and cooperate effectively with colleagues
