Your tasks
- The professional preparation of cuts of meat in accordance with orders from our butchery and catering customers
- Ensuring that orders are processed to the correct quality and quantity and delivered on time
- Coordinating and optimising workflows within the preparation area
- Compliance with all quality, process and hygiene requirements
- Managing internal order forms and placing poultry orders
- Participating in projects and assisting with optimisation measures
- Acting as deputy to the preparation area team leader
- Meeting targets and undertaking additional tasks as directed by the line manager
What you bring with you
- Completed training as a meat specialist or butcher
- Good specialist knowledge of meat processing
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work under pressure
- Experience with PS and SAP would be an advantage
- Independent, reliable and meticulous approach to work
- High standards of quality and hygiene
- Good written and spoken German
- Flexibility regarding working hours and a willingness to work at weekends and on public holidays
- A friendly, team-oriented and resilient personality
