IT is particularly important in industrial food production. Be it in securing hardware, applications and tools or the technical safeguarding of traceability. IT specialists ensure that all employees have a modern, functioning IT infrastructure. You also implement additional solutions from various specialist areas.

In application development, you will learn how to implement software solutions for new or modified products and processes. In addition to carrying out the test phase, your area of responsibility also includes user training and documenting all work steps for support or for possible further development of the application. Systems engineering includes the development, integration and maintenance of various IT and network systems. This also includes the installation of PC workstations, printers, servers and other peripherals as well as the configuration of hardware. You will also learn how to configure services, approvals and authorizations, rectify faults, create data backups and secure all systems against unauthorized access.
