Senior SAP IBP/PP Consultant
In this role, you will be the driving force behind modern, efficient and robust SAP solutions in the areas of PP and IBP. You will independently develop technical and organisational concepts, translate business requirements into smart system solutions, and oversee these from specification through testing to successful implementation. ✍️ In doing so, you’ll work closely with our technology departments – analysing and optimising business processes and interfaces. ⚙️

Your tasks
- You will play an active role in the further development of our MM/PP consultancy division and contribute your own ideas regarding structures, standards and tools.
- You will define requirements and ensure that the Department achieves its objectives efficiently.
- You will analyse existing SAP landscapes, adapt complex organisational solutions to changing business and environmental factors, and ensure sustainability in optimisations.
- You will share responsibility for our SAP PP and IBP modules – including release management.
- You will design, specify, test and implement new or optimised processes and ensure that documentation is accurate and comprehensive.
- You will review recommendations from SAP or external partners and implement them in collaboration with our technology departments.
- You’ll contribute to SAP projects, bring your specialist knowledge to bear and actively drive change.
- You will provide second-level support and assist with the creation and review of test cases.
What you bring with you
- You have at least 5–7 years’ experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC 6.0, as well as SAP IBP, and feel confident enough in these areas to design and further develop your own solutions.
- You’re familiar with the processes in PP/IBP and other logistics modules not just in theory, but from real-world day-to-day operations – and you understand how to map them effectively in a digital environment.
- Analysing, scrutinising and optimising business processes is something you enjoy.
- Whether as an active project team member or as a contributor – you know how to clearly define requirements in projects, manage change and get stakeholders on board.
- You can capture business requirements and translate and customise them in SAP ERP & IBP.
- You can explain complex topics, clarify expectations and ask the right questions. People find it easy to work with you in an open, solution-oriented and straightforward way.
- You work in a structured and reliable manner and know how to set priorities.
- You have good interpersonal skills and a creative flair, and you enjoy working across departments.
- Languages are no barrier for you: you have a confident command of both spoken and written German and English.
