Your tasks
- Assistance with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and Swiss GAAP FER
- Preparation of relevant documentation for tax returns and statutory audits
- Compilation and preparation of statutory statistics
- Providing support with subsidiary ledgers, particularly in accounts payable where required
- Actively helping to shape and continuously optimise processes and procedures within the accounts department
What you bring with you
- Several years’ professional experience in financial accounting
- Good knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB); knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER would be an advantage
- Several years’ experience and a good knowledge of SAP
- Good or confident knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- A structured, meticulous and process-oriented approach to work
- Strong analytical skills and a flair for numbers
- Enjoys working as part of a team and works reliably and independently
- Good command of English
