SAP MDG/MM Master Data Management Specialist

Your tasks
- Responsibility for data governance and ensuring the high quality of our product and material master data
- Further development and optimisation of master data processes within the SAP environment
- Providing technical support and driving the ongoing development of SAP MDG
- Analysing, designing and implementing new requirements in collaboration with business departments and IT
- Leading or co-leading base data, SAP and transformation projects
- Defining, documenting and harmonising processes, guidelines and standards in master data management
- Management and updating of product master data in SAP, including administration of GTINs and RCNs, as well as maintenance of block lists and article blocking
- Close collaboration with internal business departments, external partners and SAP specialists
- Providing support and advice to business stakeholders on all matters relating to base data and SAP processes
- Supporting the SDM Business team in their day-to-day operations within the scope of the assigned responsibilities
What you bring with you
- A degree or further qualification in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field
- Several years’ professional experience in master data management
- Substantial practical experience with SAP MDG
- Very good knowledge of SAP MM, as well as a good understanding of related processes and modules (PP, SD)
- Experience in leading or co-leading SAP, base data or transformation projects
- A strong understanding of business processes and SAP system landscapes
- Ability to analyse requirements from business departments and implement them in collaboration with IT
- Experience with data migrations, data quality management and process optimisation would be an advantage
- An independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Fluency in spoken and written German; knowledge of English and French would be an advantage
