Safety Assistant and Apprentice Supervisor (full-time)

Your tasks
- Assist with the planning and development of the company’s safety policy and measures
- Act as a support to the employer in communicating safety rules and measures internally
- Manage the annual safety training programme
- Provide administrative support to the safety coordinator
- Compile statistics on accidents and resulting absences, and keep the employer informed
- Support and ensure the development of the operational and technical skills of the apprentices under your responsibility
- Work closely with colleagues in Dällikon, ZH
- Assist and/or stand in for the safety coordinator at the Essert site
What you bring with you
- Basic and continuing training in safety (SUVA) in Switzerland, or a qualification recognised in Switzerland by the relevant authorities
- At least 3 years’ professional experience in the field of safety
- Good command of IT tools (Office suite / Forms)
- In-company trainer qualification (FEE)
- Well-organised and solution-oriented
- Attention to detail / reliability
- Good ability to work as part of a team
- Targeted and practice-oriented approach
- Good command of French
- Good knowledge of Portuguese, German and/or English would be an advantage
