Your tasks
- During your highly practical training, you will learn how to properly debone and trim individual cuts of beef, veal and pork. You will cut the meat to size according to orders, perform packing and store it. Alternatively, you will process it into charcuterie products. In addition, you will set up the machines and configure the programmes. Finally, you will support your team with a range of other production processes.
- As a Meat Specialist Assistant (EBA) specialising in poultry in Zell, Lucerne, you will learn about the entire poultry processing process.
- Once you have successfully completed your training, you can go on to complete an accelerated basic training programme to become a Meat Specialist EFZ.
