Your tasks
- Procuring and ensuring the availability of consumables and office supplies
- Independently obtaining, evaluating and negotiating offers
- Supporting the category managers in the implementation of various projects Performing general purchasing activities such as master data maintenance, Invoice verification, customs control (import) complaints processing and specification management
- Organizing and carrying out local tenders as well as negotiating and concluding (framework) contracts
- Initiating and following up on orders
- Building, Maintenance and further development of the supplier portfolio
- Analysis of categories and definition and implementation of
- procurement strategies
- Production of market reports and presentations
- Process analysis and optimization of end-to-end procurement processes in the assigned categories
- Involvement in projects such as savings initiatives or harmonization projects
- Back office and support services for all product groups
- Sample procurement and support for cross-divisional tasks
What you bring with you
- Completed commercial training or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in purchasing, ideally with a focus on indirect materials, consumables or packaging
- Sound knowledge of SAP and experience in master data maintenance
- Negotiation skills, strong communication skills and a confident handling of numbers
- Structured, independent way of working and enjoyment of process optimization
- Very good written and spoken German and English
