Your tasks
- Ensuring compliance with all laboratory guidelines and actively contributing to laboratory operations
- Carrying out analyses on various foodstuffs using microbiological and molecular biological methods
- Maintaining and managing laboratory data in the Limsophy system
- Manufacture of culture media and carrying out incoming goods inspections
- Carrying out general cleaning and hygiene tasks in the laboratory, including autoclaving, disinfecting and maintenance work, etc.
- Maintaining, inspecting and monitoring laboratory equipment and test apparatus
- Management of laboratory stock levels
What you bring with you
- Completed training as a laboratory technician (EFZ) specialising in microbiology, or an equivalent qualification
- Practical experience in a laboratory and a good knowledge of GLP
- Good knowledge of MS Office and LIMS
- A team player with an open and communicative personality
- Flexible working hours and a willingness to work at weekends from time to time
- Independent, meticulous and reliable approach to work
- A customer- and service-oriented approach
