Aniviva in Ohmstal/LU is part of the Poultry organisational unit and develops innovative solutions for Swiss poultry production. Using state-of-the-art climate control, automation and production technology, we ensure the reliable and efficient operation of poultry houses. As a Systems Solutions Fitter for Poultry House Equipment, you will be the main point of contact for the professional installation of our poultry house equipment: You will install house and system components, carry out structural modifications and assist with the installation of climate control, ventilation and production technology directly on site. In this way, you will play an active role in ensuring that modern, practical and animal-friendly house solutions function reliably. Your tasks
- Installation of poultry house equipment such as motorised hoists, nipple drinkers, feed troughs and other poultry house components
- Installation of ventilation, air conditioning and heat recovery systems in poultry houses, as well as the assembly of BIO huts
- Cutting to size, fitting and installing wall panels, insulation and structural elements in poultry housing facilities
- Carrying out mechanical and structural work in close collaboration with electricians and service engineers
- Assistance with the installation and commissioning of air-conditioning, control and production technology
- Supervising assistant fitters and farmers, and sharing practical knowledge regarding the assembly, use and maintenance of the systems
- Organising materials and managing stock, including preparing materials, picking orders and preparing for installation jobs
- Ensuring quality, safety and animal welfare, as well as order and cleanliness on the construction site
- Installation assignments throughout Switzerland, involving direct contact with customers and active participation in the further development of system solutions
What you bring with you
- Completed training in agriculture or a trade with a strong interest in agriculture
- Experience in poultry farming, barn construction or the installation of agricultural equipment would be an advantage
- Practical experience in the installation of barn fittings, ventilation, air-conditioning and supply systems, as well as in structural alterations and insulation work
- Flexibility, physical stamina and a willingness to work throughout Switzerland, including occasional overnight stays
- Enjoyment of working in agriculture and in poultry houses
- Knowledge of French and English would be an advantage
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Licence under Art. 13 NIV / 15 NIV
- Category B driving licence
