Your tasks
- Ensuring the smooth operation of our production and operating equipment in the area of conveyor technology
- Analysing recurring faults, developing sustainable improvement measures and assisting with root cause analyses for sustainable fault prevention
- Carrying out preventive maintenance work and continuous optimisation of machinery and equipment to increase system availability
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental regulations
- Maintaining and implementing the maintenance programme including clean documentation on machines and systems
- Training and supporting production employees in handling systems and simple troubleshooting
- Active participation in projects for the Procurement of new systems and machines as well as installations, conversions and other technical projects
- Management of spare parts including requirements planning and reordering
- Coordination and collaboration with external specialist departments and service providers
What you bring with you
- Completed basic technical training in mechanics, automation, electrics or a comparable field
- Initial professional experience in maintenance is an advantage
- Independent and solution-orientated way of working with a strong ability to work in a team
- Ability to work under pressure and keep a cool head even in challenging situations
- No sensitivity to blood, strong odours and heights (up to 25 metres)
- Willingness to work irregular shifts (3-shift operation and on-call duty)
- Good knowledge of MS Office programmes, SAP an advantage
- Good written and spoken German
