Head of Financial Accounting

You will be responsible for all aspects of financial accounting - including preparing financial statements and ensuring correct processes. As the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, you will bring clarity to financial issues and support the management with a sound basis for decision-making.

Your tasks
- You will be responsible for the entire financial accounting (general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, assets)
- You prepare financial statements (monthly, half-yearly, annual) and ensure clear, reliable figures
- You ensure that all processes are clean, efficient and legally compliant
- You are the central point of contact for auditing, authorities and tax administration
- You support the management as a competent sparring partner
- You lead and develop an employee with commitment and clarity
- You are actively involved in projects and help shape improvements
What you bring with you
- Federal diploma in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification
- Sound experience in financial accounting incl. financial statement security
- Confidence in working with ERP systems (SAP an advantage) and MS Office
- An independent, reliable and structured way of working
- You have a confident demeanour, communicate clearly and remain steadfast even in challenging situations
- You enjoy taking on responsibility and have a healthy dose of assertiveness
- Flexibility and openness for occasional assignments in Basel
