Your tasks
- Food technology specialists process raw materials on an industrial scale to produce food.
- During your apprenticeship, you will learn processes such as mixing, grinding, shaping, heat treatment and cooling. You will process raw materials according to specified recipes and assist the specialists with the processing. You will monitor the processing and packing equipment. Strict safety and hygiene regulations apply to all stages of the process. You will therefore check the quality of the products and inspect the foodstuffs for quality, appearance, smell, taste and packing.
