Data Engineer (m/f/d)
In this position you will be responsible for the development and expansion of a new BI & Analytics platform for our business unit Bell International, based on the Microsoft Data Platform. Bell International includes companies in Germany, Spain, Poland and France that use different ERP systems (SAP, CSB, MS Dynamics NAV 2016, Infologic). The aim is to extract the relevant data from these different ERP systems and, together with our controlling department, provide management and decision-makers with meaningful reporting via a cockpit.

Your tasks
- Development of a consolidated Enterprise Data Warehouse with a standardized structure (Wherescape)
- Development of reports based on Power BI Services and XL Cubed
- Development of ETL processes (extract, transform, load) based on different source systems (e.g. SAP, CSB, Excel)
- Development of SQL Server Analysis Services Tabular Models or Power BI Semantic Models for all departments of the company (Controlling, Sales, Purchasing, Production, etc.).)
- Creating and maintaining the corresponding documentation
- Providing user support in the area of self-service BI
- Conducting user training (basic users & experts)
- Developing complex reports together with the specialist department and advising the specialist department in order to optimize the use of the data
What you bring with you
- In-depth knowledge of Business Intelligence and Microsoft Data Platform (Azure, MS SQL Server, Analysis Services)
- Fluency in German (min. C1)
- Good English skills to be able to communicate with colleagues (m/f/d) in Spain, France and Poland
- Team player with a solution-oriented approach, independence and good communication skills
- Interested in new technologies and working methods
- Willingness to travel abroad (25%)
