Your tasks

  • It is thanks to them that, once a coin has been inserted, the selected product drops into the dispenser of the drinks machine. They ensure that automatic sliding doors open at the right moment. And they make sure that the blinds close automatically when the sun is shining. Automation specialists work across a wide range of industrial sectors.
  • During your apprenticeship, you’ll gain in-depth insights into control programming, power distribution, electrical engineering, industrial automation and process engineering. You’ll learn how to build or optimise electrical, mechanical or pneumatic devices, machines, plant and automation systems. You’ll be responsible for commissioning them and carrying out maintenance work. With the support of experts, you’ll work on exciting and educational projects and find suitable solutions for control and automation tasks. You’ll also help to plan and monitor production processes and draw up technical documents.

What you bring with you

  • Completed primary school (middle or upper cycle)
  • A talent for technical drawing and manual dexterity
  • Good comprehension and an interest in systematic and logical thinking
