Would you like to know how modern production facilities work and play a part in ensuring they run reliably? Then an apprenticeship as an automation technician (FZ) at Hilcona is just the thing for you. During your four-year apprenticeship, you’ll learn to build, programme, assemble and maintain electrical and electronic systems. You’ll combine manual skills with technical knowledge and work on exciting solutions for modern food production.

What we offer
We offer at least 5 weeks' holiday plus 15 paid public holidays and up to 6 optional bonus days. We have no company holidays at Hilcona. You organise your days off with your line manager and apprenticeship supervisor.

We will also cover your costs for travelling to the vocational school.
Hilcona will bear your training costs. You will receive a grant of CHF 300 for your own laptop. After your successful apprenticeship, you can expect great career opportunities and development prospects at Hilcona. And if you achieve a grade of 5.0 or higher in your final apprenticeship examination, you will receive an additional bonus at the Schaan site.

Your tasks
- You will assemble, wire and test electrical control systems and installations
- You will learn to read electrical circuit diagrams and technical drawings
- You will programme and test control systems and automation systems
- You will carry out measurements and functional checks
- You will assist with maintenance and repair work on production plant
- You will systematically troubleshoot faults and resolve issues as independently as possible
- You will adhere to safety, quality and hygiene regulations
- You will work alongside specialists from the technical, Production and maintenance departments
