Your tasks
- With this profession, you work in mechanical-technical areas. Thanks to the wide-ranging training, specialists in this occupational group are highly versatile.
- Drilling, turning, milling and grinding, shearing, edging, bending and punching, screwing, soldering, riveting and welding. You will learn these processing and joining techniques and much more during your varied apprenticeship. With this and with the help of production documents and technical drawings, you will create the basis for manufacturing and repairing precise apparatus and machine parts made of metal and plastic. You will also be able to join these individual parts together or manufacture entire steel constructions. Another area of responsibility that awaits you is computer-controlled tool sharpening. You will then use measuring instruments to check the quality of the parts. Finally, you will also receive intensive training in the areas of occupational health and safety.
